Hi to all our hundreds of climate concerned friends in East Gippsland

Wow! Such a lot is happening in the lead-up to the State Elections in November. It would be wonderful to have even more support for our actions coming up in the next month or two. Help on the day, baking, joining the group to plan actions, photos of posters, sticker bombing and showing up to have your say  ~ there is much to do if you have the time and energy to get involved. We welcome your involvement!

And another mention for our “out there” activists …
Spirited, generous and brave rebels are reminded of the local Rising Tide Gippsland Lakes paddle outs – twice a month – a chance to hang out with like-minded folk; extra kayaks are available, everyone is welcome.  …   “ordinary Australians committed to a fair transition to end coal and gas”.  If that’s you, but you are not yet paddling & hanging out with us, give us a shout, and we’ll link you up with Gail and crew. Currently campaigning on “Don’t Frack the Outback”  with a focus on ANZ, the only big bank which has not ruled out funding the North to East Aus Pipeline – Sticker bombing phase to begin soon. Again, keep an eye on WhatsApp for more detail

Sybils during a Rising Tide protest outside the ANZ bank in Bairnsdale. ANZ is the only major bank that is amenable to providing funding for the Beetaloo Basin gas project, described as a climate bomb for its massive greenhouse gas potential.

And we say it every time, but it’s important!
