On a personal level there are many things we can do to reduce our carbon emissions.
As part of the WTF – What’s Their Future exhibition we have produced postcards with information on some achievable steps to reduce carbon emissions.

Buying rooftop solar, batteries, heat pumps and electric vehicles are expensive items which over time will prove worthwhile investments.
Converting homes to become more energy efficient can also be a costly exercise – but again will increase comfort and save dollars in the end.In this era of especially high costs of living, many will be challenged to find extra dollars to make climate friendly upgrades…. but low cost options exist.
We actually already have loads of the solutions we need to solve the climate crisis. And these solutions come with HUGE benefits for our health, our communities, having safe and liveable homes, our way of life, and our back pockets.
It’s a win-win-win-win-win situation.
Remember, you’re not alone in taking this journey. You’re part of a community of passionate people championing renewable energy and action on climate change. There are wonderful connections to be made: fun, friendship and shared purpose. EGCAN (East Gippsland Climate Action Network) is a great local group- contact via facebook or email: egcactionnow@gmail.com and keep a tab on our web blog: climate-news.org
These postcards are available at our exhibition WTF – What’s Their Future. They highlight a variety of things that everyone can easily do to reduce their carbon emissions. Most just require a little effort.

The exhibition is open till April, 1030-3 every day @ The Butter Factory Art Space in Bairnsdale
